Gorgeous dress! This beauty is by Rose Taft for Couture Fashions and is an early design for her after she launched her private label in 1963.
Beautiful design and likely one-of-a-kind, it reminds me of the dress that Grace Kelley wore when she married her Prince Rainier! The shirring across the bodice and the beautiful lace bust with prong set rhinestones is so elegant and timeless! boho items to wear of the wedding
The thin straps have 2 rows of prong set rhinestones and all are intact.
There are 2 repairs that have been made down on the lower part of the skirt in the front by the bottom hem. They are barely visible, but noted. There is also 1 tiny smudge mark just below the waist seam on the right side-barely seen it!
The inner petticoat has a hook & eye closure at the waist. There are also hook & eye closures at the back where the shirring on the bodice connects over the zipper to hide it from view.
Measurements have put this beauty in a modern day size small-4, but please note them to ensure fit-there is not stretch to this material.
